There are thirteen more ads today, all from March 1949 editions of The Blade. The first three are additions to the Channel 13 gallery, starting with a Wednesday, 3/23/49 ad, in the Peach Section, for Ripley's Believe it or Not, featuring Robert L. Ripley. The program was sponsored by Motorola. Next is a Friday, 3/25/49 ad, on page 20, for The Lambs Gambol, sponsored by Maxwell House Coffee. There's also a Tuesday, 3/29/49 ad, for Charles Korvin and Eleanor Lynn in "Cabin B-13" on Suspense, sponsored by Auto-Lite. There are eight additions to the Radio Station Ads gallery, starting with a Thursday, 3/3/49 ad, in the Peach Section, for The Screen Guild Players Clark Gable, Walter Pigeon, Van Johnson, Brian Donlevy, John Hodiak, and Edward Arnold, in "Command Decision," sposnored by Camel Cigarettes, on WSPD-AM. Next is a Friday, 3/4/49 ad, also in the Peach Section, for The Jimmy Durante Show with Alan Young and Al Jolson, again, sponsored by Camel Cigarettes, on WSPD-AM, followed by another 3/4/49 ad, for Tom Ireland on the St. Lawrence Seaway and Power Project, on WTOL-AM. There's also a Thursday, 3/17/49 ad for The Screen Guild Players Joan Crawford and Robert Young, in "Dark Victory," on WSPD-AM, followed by a Sunday, 3/20/49 ad, in the Features Section, for Jean Arthur and Robert Morley in "Yesterday's Magic" on Theatre Guild on the Air, sponsored by United States Steel, on WTOL-AM. There's also another 3/20/49 ad, in the Features Section, for Helen Hayes in "Saturday's Children," on The Electric Theatre, sponsored by The Toledo Edison Company, on WJR-AM. Next is a Thursday, 3/24/49 ad, for Screen Guild Players David Niven, Teresa Wright, and Gigi Perreau, in "Enchantment," on WSPD-AM, again, sponsored by Camel Cigarettes. The last radio station ad today is a Wednesday, 3/30/49 ad, for Glass is What You Make It, a story of the history of Fiberglas on The Ohio Story, sponsored by The Ohio Bell Telephone Company, on WSPD-AM. The last two ads today are additions to the Other Vintage ads gallery. The first one is a Tuesday, 3/22/49 ad for the 1949 Ford F-6 Dump Truck, sold in Toledo at Lee Motor Sales, Hanley Motor Sales, G.M. Buckeye, and Bob Reese Motors. Ford was a sponsor of The Fred Allen Show on NBC Radio and Ford Theater on CBS Radio. The other one is a Thursday, 3/24/49 full-page ad, for Tele-Tone televisions and radios at Tiedke's.
