There are two additions to the Channel 13 gallery, starting with a Friday, 11/5/48 ad, in the Peach Section for Touchdown, with highlights of a Michigan-Illinois game, and a Notre Dame-Navy game, sponsored by Toledo Television Corp. There's also a Monday, 12/13/48 ad, also in the Peach Section, for Philco Television Playhouse, with Oscar Karlweis, Bert Lytell, and Marjorie Gateson in "I Like It Here." There are four additions to the Radio Station Ads gallery, starting with a Friday, 11/5/48 ad, in the Peach Section, for Hockey Tonite on WTRT-FM 99.9, sponsored by Bauer-Harrington. Next is a Saturday, 11/20/48 ad, in the Peach Section, for Toledo Talks on WTOL-AM. Dr, Wilbur White, T.U. President moderated the show, sponsored by The Toledo Small Business Association. There's also a Tuesday, 12/14/48 ad, in the Peach Section, for We, the People, on WJR-AM, sponsored by Gulf Oil. The program featured Olympic skating champion Barbara Ann Scott, playwright Moss Hart and Kitty Carlisle, and "Return of the Kittyhawk." And there's a Thursday, 12/16/48 ad, also in the Peach Section, for Bob Hope and Signe Hasso in the Screen Guild Players production of "Where There's Life," sponsored by Camel Cigarettes. There are five additions to the Other Vintage ads gallery, starting with a Wednesday, 11/3/48 ad in the Peach Section, for the movie, "Smuggler's Cove" with Leo Gorcey and the Bowery Boys, at the Granada Theatre in Toledo. Also playing was "The Return of the Whistler" and chapter 11 of the "Superman" serial. Next is a Wednesday, 12/8/48 ad, on page 15, for Bond & Lillard Kentucky Whiskey ("A Good Companion"), followed by another 12/8/48 ad, from page 26, for Schmidt's, "The Biggest Beer in Lucas County," distributed by Metroploitan. Next is a Tuesday, 12/14/48 ad, in the Peach Section, for Folger's Coffee (How Much is A Husband Worth?...Love...Logic...and the Right Cup of Coffee!). Today's last ad is a Wednesday, 12/15/48 ad, in the Peach Section, for C&S (Chicago & Southern) Airlines, advertising flights from Metropolitan Airport, to Houston, New Orleans and Havana, Cuba.
