May 17, 2017: Let's Eat Toledo

There are eleven more ads today, from the November 6-12, 1999 issue of TV Guide Magazine, and from November 9-12, 1999 editions of The Blade, plus one Random Pages gallery addition, from The Blade, a Monday, 11/8/99 Peach Section column by Chris Borelli, "Conklin, Johan Swap Newscasts at Ch. 13." There are two other items, too, about local coverage of the end of the millennium, and about 100.7 FM in Waterville, a satellite of KAWZ-FM. There's one addition, from TV Guide, to the Channel 24 gallery, a Sunday, 11/7/99 ad for Relic Hunter, "Transformation," starring Tia Carrere. There are two additions, from TV Guide, to the ABC gallery, starting with a Wednesday, 11/10/99 page-and-a-half ad for Two Guys and a Girl, "Berg's New Roomate," Who Wants to be a Millionaire?, The Drew Carey Show, "Drew Live" and Norm, "Gambling Man." Also include are the listings for the 8:00, 8:30 and 9:30 shows plus a "close-up" description for The Drew Carey Show. You can also find a larger version, here. There's also a Friday, 11/12/99 ad for Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher, featuring former child stars, Gary Coleman, Barry Williams, Danny Bonaduce and Lisa Whelchel. There are also two additions, from TV Guide, to the PBS gallery, both Tuesday, 11/10/99 ads. The first ad is for Intimate Strangers: Unseen Life on Earth and the second ad is for Nova, "Decoding Nazi Secrets." There are three additions, from The Blade, to the Buckeye CableSystem gallery, starting with a Wednesday, 11/10/99 ad, in the Peach Section, for Comedy Central's The Daily Show with John Stewart. Next are two Thursday, 11/11/99 Peach Section ads, the first ad for a Six Million Dollar Man / Bionic Woman Chain Reaction Marathon, on Sci-Fi Channel, the second ad for Veterans Day Choral Performance on the Community Channel. Choirs from Springfield, Libbey and Clay high schools were featured. There are two more ads from The Blade, both additions to the ToledoVision 5 gallery, from the Wednesday, 11/10/99 Living Section. The first ad is for Family Feud, hosted by Louise Anderson. The second ad is for Let's Eat Toledo, sponsored by the Northwest Ohio Restaurant Association, The Blade, and The Andersons. Today's last ad is an addition to the Other Vintage ads gallery, a Tuesday, 11/9/99 half-page ad, on The Blade's Weather Page, for Buckeye Express High-Speed Internet Service, with Maumee resident, Justin Olman. More ads, from the November 13-19, 1999 issue of TV Guide Magazine, and from the online archives of The Toledo Blade, are on the way...
