October 26, 1999: Only on Halloween

There are 19 more ads today, from October 1999, all additions to the Halloween Ads gallery. The first five are from pages of The Blade, starting with a Friday, 10/1/99 ad for HalloWeekends at Cedar Point (Another reason to scream at the park.), followed by another 10/1/99 ad, a half-page ad for Planet Horror at Parkway Plaza, sponsored in part by TV5. It's followed by a Tuesday, 10/5/99 full-page ad, for Face Pumpkins at Food Town. There are also two 10/5/99 Peach Section ads, the first ad for the The Famous Jett Jackson Halloween episode, "Ghost Dance," on the Disney Channel, the second ad for Terrortown at the Lucas County Fairgrounds. The next two ads are from the October 16-23, 1999 issue of TV Guide. The first one is a 3-page color fold-out ad, for Fox Family Channel's 13 Days of Halloween. There's also a larger version of that ad, here. The other one is a Tuesday, 10/19/99 full-page ad for "Addams Family Reunion" with Daryl Hannah and Tim Curry. The next ad is from the October 23-29, 1999 issue of TV Guide, a full-page color ad for AMC's Monsterfest, "The biggest scariest movie marathon ever!" It's followed by a Sunday, 10/24/99 full-page ad in The Blade for "Halloween Central" at Kroger. The next five ads are also from the October 23-29, 1999 issue of TV Guide, starting with a Sunday, 10/24/99 full-page ad for "Casper Meets Wendy" on Fox Family Channel. Next are four "Halloween close-ups," for The WB's Buffy the Vampire Slayer, "Fear Itself," That '70s Show, "Halloween" on Fox, the syndicated Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, "Darkness Visible," and AMC's Attack of the 50 ft. Monster Mania. There's also a Tuesday, 10/26/99 ad for AMC's Attack of the 50 ft. Monster Mania, followed by another 10/26/99 ad, for the Fox animated special, The Night of the Headless Horseman, followed by a Friday, 10/29/99 ad for two CBS Halloween specials, It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown and Garfield's Holiday Adventure. There's another 10/29/99 ad, too, for AMC's Big Scream TV Monster Movie Marathon. The last four ads are from the October 30-November 5, 1999 issue of TV Guide, starting with a Saturday, 10/30/99 ad for AMC's Godzilla Marathon. Next are two more "Halloween close-ups," for Freaks and Geeks, "Tricks and Treats" on Saturday, and The Simpsons, "Treehouse of Horror X" on Sunday. The last two ads are both for Fox shows on Sunday, 10/31/99, the first ad for The Simpsons, "Treehouse of Horror X" and the second ad for a replay of The X-Files, "Home."
