There are eleven more ads today, from May 1949 editions of The Blade. The first two are additions to the Channel 13 gallery, both from the Monday, 5/9/49 Peach Section. The first ad is for Chevrolet on Broadway, at its new time, starring Boris Karloff, Stanley Ridges and Vicki Cummings, in "A Passenger to Bali." The second ad is for "Cinderella" on Through the Crystal Ball, sponsored by Ford Dealers. This show aired right after The Fights From Philadelphia. There are also two additions to the Radio Station Ads gallery, starting with a Sunday, 5/8/49 ad, in the Features Section, for Helen Hayes in "No Room for Peter Pan" on The Electric Theatre, sponsored by Toledo Edison. There's also a Saturday, 5/14/49 ad, in the Peach Section, for Israel--Year 2, starring Quentin Reynolds, and a special message by Jules D. Lippmann, president of the United Jewish Fund of Toledo. The rest of today's ads are additions to the Other Vintage ads gallery, starting with a Monday, 5/9/49 ad, in the Sports Section, for "Activated" Shell Premium Gasoline, followed by two ads for "Toledo Day," a Tuesday, 5/10/49 ad (To All Toledoans...Thursday is Toledo Day) and a Wednesday, 5/11/49 ad (Do You Know...Toledo Day is Your Day). Next is a Thursday, 5/12/49 ad for Personalized Sohio Services (...their owners have private "Sohio Secretaries"). There are two Thursday, 5/12/49 ads, in the Peach Section, for movies at Toledo theatres, a Rivoli ad for "The Further Adventures of 'Ma and Pa Kettle'" with Marjorie Main and Percy Kilbride, and a Paramount ad for Joan Crawford in "Flamingo Road." Today's last ad is a Monday, 5/16/49 full-page ad for Tiedtke's (...4 Great Thrift Days...in Toledo's T Zone),
